Thank you for your inputs. I really appreciated for your help. We went to Detective office and he allowed my sister only to question. He asked couple of questions regarding that family and theft. My sister explained him that she don't know about that situation. It took about 20 minutes time there. We have below questions still remains in our mind.
1) Do we really required a Lawyer to protect?
2) I believe they should have proper information to arrest or accuse right?
3) We know my sister is innocent but feeling insecure for being happend. so what are all the chances to again question my sister?.

If your company is paying for GC, then go ahead and apply for GC and hope 140 will be approved, so that u can apply for H1.
Yes you have run out of time, since you have already crossed the 365 day limit before 6 year ends, before which u needed to apply for GC. Otherwise you could have applied for H1 renewal based on GC application. Now u have only 3 options.
1. Go back to India after 6year expires
2. Hope 140 gets approved before sept 30, 09 and apply for premium processing h1 if you want h1 to be done quickly
3. Convert to F1...you can send the papers for F1 to your college and you can have that available without affecting your H1, until u begin using F1 status

If you entered on AP your status is AOS/EAD,you can transfer your H1 but you can't be on H1 status unless and until you go out of the country and enter on H1.
I talked to Murthy about this couple of months ago.
Are you sure? There is a lot of confusion.
And what do you mean " you can transfer but you can't be on H1". If I transfer H1, then I can not work here unless I get the H1 stamped?

We need to get all these businesses to join together with Immigration voice and support us by lobbying and funding.
No Great H-1b will come here if its going to take 10-20 years to get a Green card.
I would suggest, lets have another action item to write to these companies about IV and ask for their help for Legal Immigrants that everyone needs.
This is a big thing that is missing so far.
See how the president of the Agricultural board, unions appear on TV asking for support for illegals and also get invited to Congress.

You can submit the current (new) company paystub. They will ask for the most recent/current paystub but not the past one. But however it cannot be ruled out that they will not ask previous ones, it all depends on the officer.

What confuses me is or are you saying that calfornia service center no more process the H1-B extension. But when you go to processing time in USCIS website it still shows you that they process H1-B extension

Hi there, thanks a lot for all your help - I won't start early at the second employer then but am still a little confused about how long it takes after filing the petition until i receive the receipt. One lawyer said we'd have to do premium processing since i will be back from Germany 4 weeks prior to switching jobs, but from what you guys said that shouldn't be necessary, correct? Thanks!

Our cases are assigned to IO more that 60 days ago. No LUD's sofar.
Called VSC, One officer told me that they have thousands of cases pending. :confused:

My fiancee is a MS student and currently has student loan in India being charged at 13.5%. I am wondering if there is any loan that i can get here with a lower interest rate to repay off the one in india.
I would appreciate any pointers or suggestions here.

But still there are some cards/banks are giving. It also based on how much she owes... I recently got offer for 1.99% for 8 months.

The McCain-Kennedy bill is what had the EB provisions in the first place long before Frist or Martinez-Hagel put their bills. Senator Kennedy has been fighting for immigrants rights for almost 40 years (longer than someone of us have been alive) including legal immigration. His own brother President John F. I am sorry but with all due respect to Sen Kennedy he could address the rally of bunch of illegals waiving Mexican Flag and demanding their "RIGHTS" in Spanish. We have sent faxes in English to Senetor Kennedy requesting to support Bill that will provide relief to Legal immigrant communites but still nothing specific to our cause.
Please let us refrain from making conclusions as to who was at the rally, there were many legal immigrants and citizens at the DC rally of many nationalities and backgrounds, it was covered live on CSPAN twice for its entire 4 hr duration -- CSPAN as you know is funded by US public funds and would not cover an event dominated by illegals. The US constitution guarantees constitutional freedoms and rights to all who are within its borders and that would include the right to assembly and freedom of speech. FYI, there are 43 million Hispanic-Americans in the US. The DC rally had just as many American flags as many other rallies around the country on April 10. Senator Kennedy has done a lot for legal immigrants, but lets face it, with no CIR, there will be no separate bill for legal immigrants, we would have to rely on ammendments to other bills and those ammendments would be subject to the fate of sections 8001 and 8002 of S1932. Gurus, need a lil help clarifying issue in GC process.
I've a question regarding location of work place for a H1B employee filing GC process.
I've learnt that either after filing I-140 or I-485 stage, one should maintain as an employee at the same job position(job description as mentioned in LC) and also the geographical location. I've learnt instances where if an employee is half way through (lets say approved labor or I-140) his GC process has to start all over if he had to move to another branch of the same company in another city/state.
Is this true? I might be wrong about the infomation above but I'm concerned as being consultant, I might have to move to a different city or state if I find a better project and am contemplating whether this would be an issue in future for my green card.
If I'm right, employer has to file LCA for prevailing wage for current city I'm residing now. What will be the process incase I've to move to another city/state.
I'd really appreciate if someone who has better official info or gone through this can clarify my queries so ppl like me can be better informed.

It all depends if you have a written agreement that prohibits you from working with the current employer. If there is no contract, you are safe. It seems that there is no such contract that either you signed with your ex-employer or middle-men.
If your employer doesn't pay you the salary that he agreed to (in writing), then you can be sure that DOL will ask your employer to pay a fine and pay you the salary. I would suggest that if he does or does not sue you, you better complain to DOL that you weren't getting paid. This will no way this will affect you.

well i got marriage church, but we didn't got are license yet, because my husband have some problem in court.( he is a citzen) We'll know if he will go to jail or not in march 31.
my question is:
