Did any body received the card or case status changed to Card production ordered apart from GCEB2?
It seems there is progress only for GCEB2 for the gys who got the approval notice in August.
Mine:
8/12/08 - Appproval Notice email
8/18/08 - Approval Notice mail (post)
and nothing after that...

My checks got cleared at TSC today.
Previously
My 140 was approved at TSC, sent 485 to Nebraska on June 22, they received on June 25. I called to check status yesterday, the lady said to wait. On asking if case will be transferred to TSC and if TSC will generate receipts, she said she doesn't know, but it may take at least 2-3 weeks to process receipts at Nebraska.

No problem...I think fax can be a strong messages since it is a hard copy and it has greater chances to get read quicker than e-mails.. Please take some time and fax them. Fax takes a minute to send if the line is not busy. Keep trying and fax them.

like others mentioned. i was on shocked state for a while. still could not believe. pl find out the other options asap and get into action. GC can come and go. Don not compromise with GC and GC dream etc. Life is the most precious and un comparable one. consult more doctors here as you can or go india and get it consulted. for many this which were diagnosed as complex and un-curable, indian doctors might have easy solution. just go see them you'll be fine. I understand its easy to to suggest but pain to be in that position. On top of all these trust in GOD. We'll will pray for you.

Isn't that they have completed input and receipt issuance for cases received by certain date (late Aug.?) according to their update? How come so many July filers still have not received receipts? Weird!
No, it seems as per the latest USCIS update (on Sept 7, 2007) the NSC has completed issuing receipt notices till July 28, 2007, and TSC till July 2, 2007.
Do you have any other updates?

Assume that we convert to EB2 from next week..how long would it take to get to the I-485 stage.??..given an ideal scenario of no audits..PERM 3-6 months and I-1140 can we expidite??. in 15 days..

Lets not get sucked into it..
1) If there is a clause that you cannot join thier client directly, then it has to respected.These clauses are valid in court.
2) What is there in the agreement if you join their client ? There should be a penality specified in the agreement if the clause in broken.
Lessons learnt
1) Why the hell did you sign the agreement without looking at these clauses ?
2) Why din't you have a copy of the agreement with you ?
I have seen many companies having a similar clause.There are some American companies as well that have similar clauses that you cannot join their clients within X months after employement termination.Generally you can work these things out with your employer and join the client if you leave with good terms.
But he cannot withhold your salary regardless.Thats against the law.They can penalize you but cannot withhold your salary.
